Born and bred in the Black Country Jodie is fast becoming one the best competitors in her field of sport.
From a young age Jodie wanted to become a triathlete and with the support and guidance of her family around her she has progressed into a top athlete.
At the age of just four-years-old Jodie learnt how to swim and from there became passionate about sport and following the introduction to triathlons at the age of eight she made an instant impact winning her very first event just a year later.
From then Jodie hasn't looked back and has become one of the leading medal hopefuls for the London Olympics in 2012.
To date 2009 has been her most successful year on record with first places coming in the summer at the Blenheim Sprint, the Nokia Windsor Triathlon and Bryn Bach Parc and on top of those UK wins she has also added the recent Barcelona win to her ever growing list.
