Christian Short is a professional rugby union player who currently plays for French side CA Brive who compete in the Top 14, a national league system of the French National Rugby League.
The Newcastle-upon-Tyne born lock joined the French outfit from Northampton Saints earlier this year and is enjoying his new life in the French countryside.
Going back a couple of years, Christian began to produce a string of eye-catching performances at Galway which resulted in the interest from Guinness Premier League club Northampton Saints who snapped him up.On arrival to the Northamptonshire club he soon made a mark for himself, with a string of powerful performances especially in the line-out which resulted in attention from across the Channel.
