Bobby White, born in Northampton, is a goalkeeper for the Great Britain Handball Team who are currently training for the 2012 London Olympics.
Bobby was selected along with seven of his current team mates when they applied for the 2007 Sporting Giants Talent Identification Programme (TID) which was led by UK Sport and the English Institute for Sport.
Out of 2500 hopefuls Bobby was selected and in January 2008 he was offered a full-time contract to train at a sports academy in Denmark with the rest of the Great Britain squad members with the aim to create a competitive handball team to compete at the 2012 London Olympics with a target of a top-eight finish.
Bobby is a dedicated team member of the Great Britain handball team and has already set his sights on achieving their main goal of reaching the 2012 London Olympics.
